The Kensington Satchel

A structured silhouette that moves easily from desk to dinner. The Kensington is cut from full-grain chestnut leather, finished with a solid brass push-lock and a rolled top handle that holds its shape without ever feeling stiff.

The flap closure is functional first a clean line that hides everything beneath it while the detachable, adjustable strap converts the bag from hand-carry to crossbody in seconds. Every seam is saddle-stitched by hand, not glued, not pressed. No coated leather, no synthetic trims, no manufactured heritage story. Just full-grain hide that will darken and soften the more it's used.

Full-grain leather, hand-cut and saddle-stitched with waxed thread for load-bearing seams. Edges are hand-burnished, not painted over. Hardware is solid brass throughout, chosen for durability and finish. Every piece is made in small batches, not mass-produced.

Condition with a leather balm every 3-6 months to keep the leather supple. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and moisture — if it gets wet, let it air dry away from direct heat. Store in the dust bag provided when not in use. Full-grain leather will naturally develop character and patina with age; this is normal and part of how it's meant to wear in.
